Help answer this question below.
Highlight all the songs in that album, click "Get Info," make the artist, album artist, and album fields all identical for the songs, and then do the same under the "Sort Info" section.
Again, I will 'bump' for you. I'd like to know the answer as well.
Been playing with this problem for a couple of days now: How to group all the songs together, preferably without losing Album info.
Well, I've finally cracked it; There are a couple of fields that play a part in sorting, the most important are the usual Album and Artist, but also a field that isn't immediatly clear: Album Artist. You need to on the bar at the top of the lists and tick the Album Artist to see what's currently there, which is usually blank.
So, you can do as Snazzy suggests: highlight all, right click, choose 'Get Info', select an Artist, although this means you lose the artist list. Or you can add an Album Artist (I chose 'Various Artists') and it immediatly collected all the tracks back together, leaving the Artists for each track alone. Unfortunately I also lost some Artists on some tracks as I tried the first solution first, but, Oh Well, Snazzy put me on the right track! So thanks for that.
It also works for those annoying tracks that seem to split out of a single artist album just becuase one of them was in conjunction with someone else.
Enjoy
