Well I work in a library and it has before - a customer punched one of the security guards and had to be wrestled out. Another time two male customers started fighting and security had to be called.
I think the general answer is, get a ringside seat - although not too near to be punched, preferably peering out from behind some shelves or something! Actually breaking it up is for the men, though I might rush to find a security guard.
