• Again Violet, it depends on the reason. There are many reasons to douche and many doctors will prescribe it for various conditions. What you want to say is that "douching for no reason is bad for you". My statement merely said that "it depends on the reason" --- which remains correct.
  
  And, again, she asked how to get rid of the smell -- and douching will do that in almost all cases. The health aspect was not in question.
