Help answer this question below.
It would be better to eat just fresh fruits each day instead of slim fasts. You would get the same results, save money, and be much more healthier.
You could try just running for 10 minutes a day. I'm assuming you're trying to lose weight in which case it doesn't matter unless you burn fat along with it. You see, fat is basically just stored energy, so naturally if you're more active you'll have less fat. You'd be amazed what 10 minutes of running, push-ups, sit-ups a day can do for you, but I digress. I don't think that living off of slimfast will be very healthy for you. I'm sure you could for awhile, but it would hurt you more than it would help.
For a while I'm sure you could, whether you should or not is debatable.
It's a well known fact diets don't work. You have to burn more then you take in,,,Try reducing portion size and don't deprive yourself....lifting weight build muscle so even sitting around burns calories...Just a thought!
It's probably a lot more than starving people in Rowanda are getting. But why would you want to? Someday you are going to want a sandwhich and then the calories will pile on again.

But with slim fast, you get all your vitamins, minerals, fats, protein, carbs, sodium... everything.

Fruits contain all these ingredients. There are fruitarians that live exclusively on fruits and are very healthy.Fruits are also the easiest to digest and none of the food value is lost through cooking.

I doubt its easier to digest that a drink, but I see what you mean. I tried only eating uncooked fruits and vegies, couldn't do it. It takes to long to eat, and I don't enjoy eating many fruits. I do like vegies though.

A way around it is to juice vegetables.I have a juicer that separates the juice from the bulk and you get the concentrated juice that tastes good. Also fruit juices can be blended and honey added to get a sweet taste.

But would juicing all fruits and vegies give me all the nutrient I need?
by x-narpolax on July 16th, 2009
Yes it would, for the bulk in vegetables does not have many nutrients.
