  • "Biblical science" is an oxymoron.
  • I'm not sure what "Biblical Science" is or how it is different from the standard, academic kinds you listed. There is nothing Biblical about any of them. If you are asking about how those sciences have proven things in the Bible to be true, I'd say that except for a few historical things (like that the Roman Empire existed at that time, Herod was a real person etc) which we know from multiple, independent and more reliable sources, nothing.
  • There is no such thing as Bible Science. The Bible was written centuries before the Age of Science. Though it makes some statements, none of them are tested, evaluated and verified. Thus, not scientific.
  • The Bible is not a science book, but it's contents are scientifically sound on matters that human researchers discovered only at a latter time. I Will list a few examples that I have read about: (1)-Origin of the Universe: Gen. 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” In 1978, astronomer Robert Jastrow wrote: “Now we see how the astronomical evidence leads to a biblical view of the origin of the world. The details differ, but the essential elements in the astronomical and biblical accounts of Genesis are the same: the chain of events leading to man commenced suddenly and sharply at a definite moment in time, in a flash of light and energy.”—God and the Astronomers (New York, 1978), p. 14.
  • (2) Shape of Planet Earth: Isa. 40:22: “There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth.” In ancient times the general opinion was that the earth was flat. It was not until over 200 years after this Bible text had been written that a school of Greek philosophers reasoned that the earth likely was spherical, and in about another 300 years a Greek astronomer calculated the approximate radius of the earth. But the idea of a spherical earth was not the general view even then. Only in the 20th century has it been possible for humans to travel by airplane, and later into outer space and even to the moon, thus giving them a clear view of “the circle” of earth’s horizon.
  • (3)--Animal Life: Lev. 11:6: “The hare . . . is a chewer of the cud.” Though this was long attacked by some critics, the rabbit’s cud chewing was finally observed by Englishman William Cowper in the 18th century. The unusual way in which it is done was described in 1940 in Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London, Vol. 110, Series A, pp. 159-163.
  • Details of Human Anatomy: Job 19:20 "I escape with the skin of my teeth." "On the enamel surface (of the teeth) is a highly indestructible pellicle (thin skin) or film indistinguishable to the naked eye known as the enamel cuticle (Nasmyth's membrane"," says the Eccyclopedia Americana (1956), bol. XXVI, P.321
  • I hate to tell you but there is no such thing as "Biblical science". There is the scientific method - and it works exactly the same way for any hypothesis, evidence, conjecture, etc you bring to it.
  • If the Bible originates with the Creator of man, we should be able to find in its pages convincing proof that it is not the product of human wisdom. As you probably know, people of ancient times had some very fanciful ideas about man’s origin. Similarly, medical texts from ancient Egypt reveal great ignorance in the field of medicine. Although Moses was “instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians,” he wrote that man was formed, not out of Ra’s tears but “out of dust from the ground.” (Gen. 2:7; Acts 7:22) Has modern medical science confirmed the fact that man was formed from mineral elements from the earth’s soil? In their joint work Les oligoéléments (Trace Elements), Andrée Goudot and Didier Bertrand, member of the French Agricultural Academy, inform us: “In all the living organisms studied, in addition to carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium, sulfur, chlorine, magnesium, potassium and sodium, the presence of the following elements can be considered to be a proved fact: six nonmetallic elements: fluorine, bromine, iodine, boron, arsenic and silicon; a transition element: vanadium; and thirteen metals: iron, zinc, manganese, copper, nickel, cobalt, lithium, rubidium, cesium, aluminium, titanium, chromium, molybdenum and also probably tin, lead, silver, gallium, strontium and barium.” All these substances are to be found in the earth’s crust, proving that man is truly formed from the ground, as the Bible states.
  • Probably would not qualify as "proof" or science, but some archaeological discoveries at least give some credibility. http://www.answerbag.co.uk/a_view/6386280 . There are some prophesies also. http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/6600109 /././ http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/7919501
  • This question shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the way science works. Science doesn't prove anything. However, I am not going to go into this again. If you want to see why I say this, then read my answer to this question (http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/16188). It is currently the top rated answer.
