we have stayed at the whaler in newport and the sandcasle in lincoln city. it sits right on the beach. very nice atmosphere and really nice hosts.phone # for them is 541-996-3613. very good . whaler sits above nye beach. easy access to the beach. the phone # is 541-265-9261. hope this helps you. enjoy your coast trip

You're reading I'm looking at making a road trip from Portland, Oregon down all or part of the Oregon coast then back up IH 5 through Eugene and Salem. Any recommendations for good, semi-reasonable places to stay on the coast?
