Help answer this question below.

I spilt black nail polish on my husbands new BMW cream leather seats what should i do? can i clean it myself or do i need a professional?

    1st, I'd be really really good to him. Then I'd get a flight to Mexico and call him with the news from there.
    Other than that, you need a professional now. It's called enamel for a reason. It's paint.
    I do know how you feel though, I once spilt India ink on white carpet. Good luck

    Call the dealer. Leather is actually surprisingly resilient, even for skin. The plus side is they are cream colored, so I could try a little polish remover on, say, the underside of the seat to make sure it doesn't fade, and if the dealer says it won't hurt it, go ahead and use it. also, you could try speaking to a taxidermist, as they deal very frequently with both the production of and the maintenance of leather.

    I know you can use acetone or rubbing alcohol, but you need to test the leather before trying this, in case of discoloration, I would call the BMW dealer and ask them. They may have a leather cleaner made for their seats.
