Ok i just got a cd player put into my buick park av but when i turn it up to about 17 it gets really staticy can someone help i have my factory speaks and they sounded great before

    Usually poor sound quality is from a weak audio signal, which is why most audio enthusiasts prefer to amplify the signal. It might be that the stock stereo was amplified, where the new unit is not.
