    I got infected with one in the 90's and kind of passed it around until I got virus protection. Wasn't from AB though because it didn't exist.
    My virus protection runs weekly and cleans up anything like tracking cookies, but it is always on and blocks anything that is of danger. I also have my browser set to close all temp files and programs downloaded when I log off the browser.
