I'm not sure, I once saw a show on a woman whose house was filled with trash (not figuratably speaking litearl trash like mouldy bread and empty yoghurt containers) she could not bear to throw it away cos she felt it was a part of her, she had been collecting it for 38 years and when they cleaned out her house for the sake of her health she wailed like a child watching bambi.

For me, sentimental value holds much more worth than what the world views as holding value. Items that provoke a memory or have a personal history are priceless. A lot of these items may look like trash to anyone else, but for me.....precious gems from my or my family's past. A scribbled note from a friend who has passed, a doodle from my son when he was 2, a rock that my youngest son said looked like the morning......priceless.
