Help answer this question below.

If you had a skin condition called " tinea versicolor ", and you had tried everything to get it to go away, but nothing worked, and someone told you that fresh urine would kill it. Would you try that, or is it just to gross.

    tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor) causes, symptoms and skin fungus treatment. Over the counter treatments include Selsun Blue and ketoconazole shampoo which seem to be designed to help.

    There is a prescription strength 'Selsen blue' type shampoo/soap along with an oral pill that one needs - with prescription.

    If that didn't work then one does not have tinea versicolor.
