Do you mean muscles, veins or arteries? Intercostal muscles are several groups of muscles that run between the ribs, and help form and move the chest wall. The supreme intercostal vein is a paired vein that drains the first intercostal space on its corresponding side. The intercostal arteries are a group of arteries which supply the area between the ribs ("costae"), called the intercostal space.
