Help answer this question below.

I will be 16 august 22 and i have told my mom and dad i will be leaving and living with my aunt they are fine with it but they insist i be emancipated before i go but i dont think emancipation is the best idea what else can i do?

    emancipation is hard. why do u want it? Are your parents abusive?

    Honey, running away to an aunt isn't always best.. I can't tell you if you are doing the right thing or not! But I will say the reason your parents are asking for you to be emancipated is to make sure they don't get into trouble, (if you do something) say not go to school, etc.. Please think about this.. whats two years? good luck to you.. +5
