I helped my husband buy a car and its not under my name when i leave in it he says that hes going to report it stolen. How do i put it under my name?

    Did you make any payments on it with checks in your name? Or were payments made from a joint checking account? Or did you make cash payments and receive receipts addressed to you? If so, then it is probably joint property. It would take him to agree or a court to order the title to be put in both of your names.

    If you go, bring plenty of records with you so you can back up your claim, and drive very safely. Good luck to you!
