Question

Help answer this question below.

I am employed now, but when I go for a promotional job interview, I find myself in disagreement over working hours. I tell them I only work 6AM to 2 PM. They want a 9 to 5 person. Why can't they be more flexible?

They must only need someone there during that particular time frame. If you can only work between 9 and 5, you would need to find a job that is looking for that or offers flex time.

Because the job requires someone be there from 9-5! Why get to a retail job at 6 am when the store doesn't open for customers until 10 am? You need to look for a job that has flex hours.

Well if you want the promotion you need to be more flexible. I guess it depends on how bad you want it. Your boss isn't there to cater to you, you work for him. +4
