Dropping your pants to brush the sand out after sliding into one of the bases.
for me ,personally, and one which i won't tolerate and i stress to my grandson....bad sportsmanship ....
There's no crying in baseball.
I don't know about the biggest but not paying attention to the wave-off has to be up there. +5 Keith
It seems ... being a Cubs fan! But it sure hasn't stopped all of us!! :)
One of the biggest is trying to "bunt" for a base hit, in the late innings of an opposing pitchers no-hitter.
Cheating, Steriods, Betting against your Team, Corked Bats.
Touching the ball if you are playing offense instead of defense. It is something unique in baseball compared to other sports like basketball or volleyball.
i would think spitting on the umpire.
Sell out, just like the 1919 White Sox did.
Ask Steve Bartman.

Though in my opinion, any other person in his place would have done EXACTLY the same thing. You see it all the time in baseball.
I hope he's doing well these days.
Trying to watch an entire game. I'm sure someone slips me a sedative every time!
forgetting how many outs there are.
forgetting what the pitch count is.
A pitcher purposely throwing a baseball at a batters head.
your batting and the pitcher throws the ball so you purposely miss the ball to throw the bat at the pitcher,i don`t that would go done well.+5
Touching an umpire or using steriods...+ 5
Talking to the pitcher while he's trying to throw a no-hitter or a perfect game.
it's simple ... betting on the games
dnt run fast
Tackling -- it drives the ump crazy
I'd say that performance enhancing drugs/steroids and bad sportsmanship are right up at the top.
...a batter, taking his bat to the umpire, after a difference in opinions--about the last pitch?
You don't argue strikes with the umpire. You don't showboat when hitting a homerun, although I've seen a few players do that.
watch the third strike
Using your baseball bat as a weapon. Juan Marichal did this during a baseball game between the San Fransisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 22, 1965; when he struck Dodgers catcher John Roseboro with his baseball bat, the resulting wound to Roseboro's head required 14 stitches to close--and is said to be the most likely reason why Marichal did not get elected to Baseball Hall of Fame during his first four years of eligibility. Only after Roseboro publicly forgave Marichal for that incident did the Baseball Writers of America forgive him, too; Marichal was finally elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983.

Do you think Charlie Manual has something against Wilson Valdez and/or Ben Francisco. If so, why? They are good ball players.
