Don't use it myself but I imagine it would send an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed of new questions etc. I am going to guess you can get an RSS feed for specific categories/users but don't quote me on that. (An RSS feed is a way of keeping track of regular website updates without having to actually go to the website continually. Often used for news services). EDIT: sorry I didn't say how to use it. You will need an RSS reader (loads of good free ones available). They usually just run in your system tray (on windows at least). When you click the button you can either copy the URL of the feed and manually add it to your reader or more likely you will be able to click a "subscribe" button and choose the appropriate program i.e. your RSS reader.

I'd love to know too since I have pressed it and nothing happens.

I know it's stands for really simple syndication but i've never found a description of it that makes sense and tells me what to actually do to make it work. Once I did start getting a feed, probably with the Mozilla email client, but I'm not sure how and after stumbling across the entries by accident a couple of times, I've never seen them again. I have a horrible feeling there are thousands of RSS entries slowly taking over my hard drive.
