A hobbit, according to the book The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien, are small little creatures that live in Arda one of the cities in the midevial earth. They are fat and love to eat a lot of food, about 8 meals a day. The also have leathery feet, meaning shoes are not neccesary for them. They dress in bright colors, have a short beard and are the closest race to look like humans, or big people.
