percent of first marriages end in separation or divorce within 15 years. The study is based on
the National Survey of Family Growth, a nationally representative sample of women age 15 to
44 in 1995. such data can be found in Bramlett, Matthew and William Mosher. "First marriage dissolution, divorce, and

You're welcome. Seriously, though, ...it's true. People can say "Divorce is so common now, so what's the point in saying 'I do'?" The truth is people should get to know each other more before they get married and not just get married based on their feelings at the time alone... marriage is ideally a lifetime commitment that should be taken very seriously...but what do I know? I'm just a stupid 19 year old girl who obviously has no marriage experience since I've never been married...

no your completely right. i am a 20 year old girl with no marriage experience, but i learn from others mistakes around me. dont get me wrong i would love the idea of marriage in the next year, but im not gonna chance that. right now ive only been with my bf 6 months and we are def not ready for that kind of commitment, and my ex just got married after dumping me for good in January, got married in April. oh yeah thats a lasting relationship. he literally knew this girl, not dated but knew her, for 9 months before he popped the question, they literally dated for a month.
