  • Actually that is usaully not a jab at other Christians but rather a response to people who tell us they don't need a prophet because the Bible has all the answers we need. - If the Bible alone were sufficiant than everyone who believes the Bible ought to believe the same. The divisions prove there is need for further revelation. - Latter-day Saints don't believe they have the answers for everything, or all the knowledge God wants to give them: "We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God."   • Yes and it's the same issue they call an 'apostasy' when it comes to other religions. If you try and tell them that they wont agree and talk about a 'restoration' however that does not allow for differences in opinions and beliefs. It's just another church, and just another religion when you look at it the way you described above.
