Company (X) checked my credit score through Equifax and they said it is good. But my credit is bad and they have made a mistake about it. Now that I fixed that problem through Equifax, is Equifax going to tell the company (X) about the mistake?

ok let me tell you the whole story. my brother and I have a very similar name. recently we both applied for a loan. I have been accepted, but my brother's request was rejected due to his bad credit. The company made a mistake here because my brother's credit score is good and MINE is bad. they have made a mistake due to the similarities of names and they think I am my brother and my brother is me!!!.. (did you get it?lol) after calling them. are they going to let the company know about the mistake that they have made? or I can still use the loan without any problem?
