  • no, but that one episode of friends when ross was dating that hot girl who took him back to her apartment that was all messy and gross, would have (i gagged a little when i first saw it)
  • not nasty, no. but i have had to go outside and *actually* vomit before. i am extremely claustrophobic. last summer i was in my friend's dad's house, and it was really teeny and really stuffy. it was also very hot. i felt all queesy like i was going to feint and then i went outside and barfed on their grass. it was disgusting.
  • yes, it had a terrible smell because the houshold didn't use the toilet but kept all their mess in a big can
  • Yes, some years back I was friends with a married couple who were having a terrible money crisis, and together they took on a job of cleaning rental homes/apartments for a real estate agent who knew them casually. I offered to help them one day, and Oh My Lord! The place was the nastiest place on the face of the earth. The whole place smelled of a horrible combination of B.O., stinky feet, vomit, urine, cigarette smoke and beer. There was urine all over the bathroom. It was on the walls, sink, toilet seat and tank, and even on the mirror. Beer, vomit and Pringles covered the living room carpet, and the kitcken was entirely covered by a stinky, greasy film, and there were two dead mice in the oven. This in not a joke, the only reasonably clean surface in the entire place was the inside of the shower.
  • Yes - A neighbor had 17 Cat's and I big dog - All inside - They were very nice - But I couldn't breathe
  • I was in a house one time years ago that was very disgusting. Trash everywhere, holes in all the walls, the smell was horrible, and the toilet looked like the one in the "Young Ones" episodes. Nasty!
  • ehhh so there was a house down the street from me a couple years ago. I dont know exactly what was wrong with them but at some point their ceptic(sp?) tank exploded into their basement. They never bothered to clean it up insted they just started dumping "everything" down the basement stairs... They did this for YEARS! i never went in there but eventually they were forced out by the town and a guy in a biohazard suit had to go in and inspect the building. After a few min. he came running out and puked everywhere. They ended up burning the place down.
  • my list: death farts animal waste human waste moldy, watery, garbage piles
  • Yes in my stepsister home when I went to take her kids..was indescribable conditions
  • I own a commercial and house cleaning service for 15 years, in the 15 years, I have refused 3 cleaning jobs because of the condition of the house,
  • I was at a party about 20 years ago and needed to use the restroom really badly. The only one that was available was the master bath. I took a look behind the shower curtain (to make sure no one was in there) and it was full of slimy mold. Really gross. I have been very conscious from then on to make sure no mold sticks around in my shower...
  • Yes, my answer of "what is the worst smell you have ever encountered" works here too. It was a refrigerator full of food with maggots. It's making me gag right now just thinking of it!
  • I used to own a cleaning business and me and my crew went toclean a really beautiful home and it was the first time I ever refused to do a job. It was disgusting with filth everywere...I won't tell you what I found on the kitchen counters among the trash and dirty dishes because it would make your stomach turn.
  • Yes, my own.
  • Yes, one of my "sisters" homes. I took her kids with me when I left and had them for the next 7 yrs
  • notlately
  • Yes I have. And I bought the house to flip. It belonged to a lady who was functional, but also mentally ill. She was in foreclosure. The house will filled with rotting garbage, dog and cat feces, and a dead cat. There was food rotting in the refrigerator and on the counter. The water had been cut off and the bathroom toilet and tub were full of human feces. There were rats, mice, and roaches crawling everywhere. My husband and a friend put on HazMat suits and wore masks. I had a 30 yard dumpster delivered. With shovels, they went in and cleaned the house out. From that 950 sq. ft. home they filled that dumpster 5 times. This included removing the sheet rock and all fixtures. It's nearly unimaginable the condition this home was in.
  • Yes, I have, I had the joy of cleaning up three of my brother's messes. Twice in my great grand parents' attic and once in my mother's rental house. The first time at Granny And Papa's he was there alone after we kicked him out. We had to go kick him out of there from the drug activity and the violence we found out about. It smelled bad, there was spoiled food, trash, dirty dishes and clothes every where, and drug leavings like used baggies. He also had a dog that went where ever it wanted. And I found list after list of phone sex numbers in a draw. That explains the $5,000.00 phone bill he blamed on Papa. The second time at Granny's and Papa's was worse because he brought his girlfriend and two kids, 4 and new born, with him. It took us a year to get him out. Same deal with the smell, trash, dirty clothes and dishes, spoiled food covered in mold, and drug paraphanalia. On top of that there were kids toys and dirty diapers. I don't think my neice's or her brother's sheets had been changed since they moved in a year before. The beds were covered in feces, urine, dirt, blood, and voimit (And where the blood was in some spots made me want to kill. Blood should not be in the middle of a child's bed). In the bathroom there were bath toys and dirty diapers in the same basket. Again fecal matter and urine was splattered everywhere. Once again I found pornography right where the kids could get to it. Violent and graphic to boot. And now there were cockroaches. What made me so angry about the mess was not only that my neice and nephew were living in that, but so were my great grand parents. They always kept a spotless house even in their 80's and 70's. And that Child Services acussed my mother of staging the pictures we took. The last time was my mother's rental. Same smell, dirt, trash, and clothing every where plus he had a dog he kept in the garage. He never once cleaned up the dirty papers. And we found a gram scale in his closet. Said it was for his roofing bussiness. He measured out the tar mixture with it.
  • Yes, I have. It was so gross. Dirty laundry everywhere, sandwiches smashed on the floor, dirty diapers lying around. Cat shit all over This woman had kids and was being investigated by social services. I moved during that time. I often wonder what happened.
  • Oh yes indeed! This house was so bad they had to "clear" a place for me to sit! If they had pizza the night before I was there "all" the boxes would be on the floor with leftover pizza in them! They had three little dogs..that used one of their "closets" as a potty!! The dishes were always piled was high out of the sink and you could actually "stick" to the kitchen floor...needless to say...I "never ever" used their bathroom...so I have no idea if it was clean or dirty but I have a very good idea it was filthy! They were really nice people and a realitive of a friend! So I didn't go there very often! And this was an "apartment" I would have never wanted to be the land lord in that case!! OMG it was awful!
