  • neither. i deem both impossible.
  • No one can predict that far in the future. You are talking about another era completely. I've already walked on the surface of the sun, that's no big deal, nothing going on there. Time travel is already being done now.
  • I'm not sure, let me go ask the ball and chain, he was a toddler then.
  • The Sun doesn't have a solid surface, so you can't walk on something that doesn't exist. This is a little like asking, "When will mankind be able to swim in hardened steel?" As for time travel, it seems quite unlikely, but the jury is still out.
  • Neither, but time travel is certainly more possible (relatively speaking) since the sun has no surface to walk on.
  • You might as well be walking on the sun.
  • None of the above my friend ... We will be lucky if the sun isn't burning us up here on Earth by that time ... Peace
  • I think well have a new place to live by that time.. :)
  • I think well have a new place to live by then.. :)
  • Does something special lye in the year 3000 ad? I think it is very hard to do that even after many many years!
  • If modern civilization doesn't collapse or we don't become extinct by then, I'd say time travel would be likely in one way or another. Walking on the sun however would be unlikely. But in a simulated environment anything would really be possible depending on the programs available and how much they can be altered to suit the individual.
  • I think neither of them! It would be impossible to walk on the surface of the sun since it is just a big ball of bloody hot gas. I would give time travel a slightly higher chance since some scientists say 'never say never' on that one.
  • if we make it that long then i think time travel will be inevitable, but not walking on the sun as it has no surface!
  • maybe if we get beyond 2012 the mayans and others are saying it is coming to end
  • Bigger chance most definitely, but a bigger chance doesn't mean success.
  • Neither.
  • Not just that, but on words of lady Vanga there will be kiborgs, animals which can speak, artafficial sun... So yeah, until that year there will be miracles... Who would believe in internet at year 1980?
  • Its past 2,000 AD now by nine years...and Armageddon is not here yet...and after Armageddon,we have a thousand year period when Satan and his demons are locked away [ not yet destroyed] and those left on the earth can grow to perfection without the distraction of wickedness... (Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it]. (Revelation 20:3) And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while. This is Jesus locking away Satan... As to our future... (Isaiah 45:18) For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else. If God has a future planned for the earth, he also would have a future planned for all the stars..and their planets... And he has proved that a planet is only 'complete' if it is inhabited... So when we learn to properly look after the earth, He may allow us " OUT THERE"
  • If you are correct in assuming that humankind will survive to that point the chances are better. If you believe that either you or I will see the year 3000 - I have some bad news. +5
