No one can predict that far in the future. You are talking about another era completely. I've already walked on the surface of the sun, that's no big deal, nothing going on there. Time travel is already being done now.

The Sun doesn't have a solid surface, so you can't walk on something that doesn't exist. This is a little like asking, "When will mankind be able to swim in hardened steel?" As for time travel, it seems quite unlikely, but the jury is still out.

If modern civilization doesn't collapse or we don't become extinct by then, I'd say time travel would be likely in one way or another. Walking on the sun however would be unlikely. But in a simulated environment anything would really be possible depending on the programs available and how much they can be altered to suit the individual.

I think neither of them! It would be impossible to walk on the surface of the sun since it is just a big ball of bloody hot gas. I would give time travel a slightly higher chance since some scientists say 'never say never' on that one.

If you are correct in assuming that humankind will survive to that point the chances are better. If you believe that either you or I will see the year 3000 - I have some bad news. +5
