I live about 12 blocks from the ONLY grocery store in this town........GRRRRRRRRrrrrr and it is Albertsons. It ran our "hometown" grocery store out of business. That stinks! +5

Yes. I takes five minutes to get there. And there are plenty of things to buy. However there is a better one that is 45 minutes (walking). Pehaps 5 minutes driving. :)

I live almost above the supermarket. I only have to take the elevator down and walk a few metres and I am there.. Comes in really handy when you have forgotten something.

No. The closer one is a mile and a half. I can walk that distance, but I would have a hard time carrying the bags back home.

Yes, a large chain grocery within 1 block, and another (different chain) within 4 blocks. The closest store to me is an elevator ride away, down in the mall of the highrise I live in. Hot and cold deli, in-house bakery with fresh breade daily, fully stocked grocery store, and free delivery. Who could ask for more? :-)

About 15-20 minutes (walking distance) so yeah i do. Theres 2 super markets across the street from each other just within a mile from me.

Yes. There's one a mile away. The only problem is that there are no sidewalks and the road is too narrow to safely walk there.

I live one large city block away from a small supermarket. It doesn't have what I want most of the time, but it's convenient.
