How does our brain register something as disgusting(like tasting something that would test our gag reflexes) Contrastly, how does our brain register something as good? i.e good tasting? What exactly in our brain causes us to think and feel a certain way?

    its a mixture of genetics and your envirnment. also evolutionary stand point, sweet foods have glucose and other sugars that are vital so your brain will tell you to eat that for the nutrition, as bitter foods usually were poisonous and were stayed away from. salts - eletrolytes, etc. your brain knows what your body needs and will have you crave certain foods for those nutrients subconsciously. also its about perspective, if you think its nasty youll taste it and say its nasty.
