Frankly I get more then I did working. Of course, when I did, I put in major OT and now that's come back to help me!
Then, I go TRA and sit on my butt for another year. Then find a job and by that time, hopefully, the economy will have come abck.

I work as an educator, and in California, a lot of educators are losing their jobs because of the negative state budget. Keeping my job is an incentive! I should be ok because I have tenure, but it never hurts to do your job well and receive recognition!
Opportunity for advancement is always a plus for me. If I don't find it where I am I move on.

Not really. I get paid 7.00 bucks an hour on a campus job, so i really dont care how productive i am. We do have some incentives though, so some times im motivated to be a bit more productive.
yep..I'm self employed, so the more work I can produce the greater my income.
