I have wondered about that. As a writer, you sell the rights to use your work, but a painter actually sells the work. I would think there is a different dynamic at work for the painter. Good question!
Mixed feelings. Happy that someone loved it enough to want to buy it, sad because it feels like I'm giving up one of my children! I think I feel that way because my drawings are a part of me, very personal-my soul on paper! :)
Happy that someone wanted to see my work all the time; sad because I don't have it anymore...
