Not so hard if the glass is excited. (lol)
Watch out you don't cut your mouth though.

    1) "Glass blowing is a sensitive process that can end in total disaster with a single mistake. The primary material in glass blowing 'molten glass' is very fragile and meticulous hands are needed to mold it into a beautiful work of art. Here are some glass blowing tips that will help you make the best glass art pieces.

Visualize your piece. Know the exact kind of piece you want to make and think about how you want the finished product to look like. Molding soft, molten glass may seem easy since you can always reheat it if you think you are not making positive progress while molding it. But repeatedly reheating glass can cost you a lot of time. With glass, you can't have enough time to stare blankly while you decide on the shape and look you want the molten glass will cool down and crack."

    2) "Glass pipe blowing is a tricky business. You have to know exactly what you want out of the material and just how much pressure you need to exert to be able to create it."

    4) "There [are] two kinds of glassblowing, furnace, which l do, & torch.
Torch glassblowing or lampworking involves holding cold rods or tubes of glass in the flame of a torch, building pieces from various color rods. Most of the work is smaller in scale though it does not have to be. Neon tubing & scientific glassblowing r also lampworking. A solid setup that will last for a career costs about $500 (torch & tanks) & can be used in a space as small as 3x5 feet. Classes for beginners r available in most cities, especially if beginning with glass bead making.
Furnace glassblowing exposes the worker to much more heat, requires much more space, & costs a lot more. It is an elaborate juggling or dance act to keep the glass workable & in shape. It can be done alone although it is more common to have a team of 2 or more people & some elaborate pieces would be very hard to complete alone. A person building all their own equipment might make a $2000 setup work although twice that is more common. In some parts of the country (Texas), classes r few & far between while high quality classes r available in 1-2 week long sessions in 5-6 places for numbers like $2000 including room & board. Weekend beginner classes typically cost $250-350.
While there is a risk of burns, the greater threat is dehydration. Most burns do not come from the glass, but from accidentally picking up the wrong part of something that is hot. l used to find it curious that 4-5 people could be moving on the blowing floor with molten glass on pipes & punties & they did not burn each other, until l realized that a person who did not watch the glass closely found it dripping to the floor, thus keeping it from hitting people was easy."

Like many things, it's probably much harder than they make it look.

I have a friend who does it. It doesn't seem very easy! Back when he was learning, he'd tell me about how hard it was, but now he's pretty good I think. Kinda like a lot of things! It's easy to mess something up, I'm sure, as it's a pretty delicate process. I'm going to say it is very hard to do.
