No but I think the closer the goals are the more smoothly the journey will be.
i dont think so but sometimes if you have the same intrests and stuff then it brings you closer together but if you are happy then what dose it matter if you dont have the same goals :)
I think there need to be similarities, or rather, both goals although seperate should be able to work along side each other.
There is no good one person having the goal of pursuing a career in the city and getting to the top of his game, while the other has the goal of travelling the world - for example. They have to be mutually accomodating. The relationship may work if they are not, although one person may have to forfeit his own goals for the sake of the relationship which could lead to resentment.
