Is there any money in reproducing old artists works, like Vermeer, Rembrant etc?

Strangely, yes. There are numerous Web sites selling reproduction art. I can't fathom why someone would by a reproduction but they pay as much as decent creative art sells for at art shows today and get something for their money that just screams REPRODUCTION to those who visit their place.
