someone who understands depth, focus, color or shade, different types of light etc etc.. and can use them to creat a beautiful photo. EI: they can focus in on a flower and blurr everything else around is while sharpening the colors of the flower.. ( my friend is a photographer)
Getting paid to photograph. It generally refers to a higher quality of work due to experience as well, but this is not always the case.
