Question

I live in SC. My father died in 2001. There was no written will or anything of that sort. The assets were never taken through Probate Court and my Grandmother/Uncle took everything my dad owned from me. What are my rights to any property or assets of his?

It's too late to do anything. The Statue of Limitations expired in 2007. You could have sued to have the estate probated, since he died intestate (without a will).
Every state has a list of who is in line to receive property in case of no will. Usually, the list starts: 1)Spouse, 2) Children, 3) Grand Children 4) Parents, 5) Siblings, 6) Aunts/Uncles, & 7) Nearest Blood Relative. Not all states are the same.
