Listen to those who witness to you, read The Word, believe and trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Many prisons of the mind have their basis in unforgiveness. Once you're saved, you have Someone to confess your unforgiveness to, and He will forgive you.

You'd like to join the Matrix? Meditate on hard to understand things for a long time such as the concept of 'eternity' and how God has always been without a beginning and without an end. Read, travel, experience new ideas, new cultures. And like the other poster said, forgive. It frees you tremendously. And understand your need to be forgiven as well - only by turning your life over to Christ in submission, will you be free. The bible says: (John 8:36) "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
