Help answer this question below.
A mogul is a mound of snow that results when people making turns with their skis and snowboards. As people make turns they push away from their skis, i.e. as a person turns right they push snow to their left. The steeper the run the more quickly people must turn to maintain control. The tighter people turn the more snow gets pushed around the run. As more and more people turn, lanes tend to develop down the run as people get in a rhythm. These lanes lead to the development of moguls. Moguls form most quickly in fresh, new snow conditions.
Is skiing on manufactured snow as pleasurable as skiing on the real deal? Any difference in feel or is the experience the same?
