Your premise that the Holy Spirit is "one of three Gods" is incorrect. The Holy Spirit is a distinct part of the Trinity which is The One and only True God....not one of three Gods. There is a big difference and may I add muslims never seem to understand it and if they are told over and over they still don't. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son..with the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit is worshipped and glorified..He(Holy Spirit) has spoken through the prophets.

I always thought the christian interpretation was that the father, son, and holy spirit were not separate entities, but facets of the same god.

You said it yourself. He is one way that God acts. In ancient Greek Theater, actors wore masks, or 'personae' to depict their characters. That way one actor could play several parts. Now. Replace 'actor' with 'God' and 'mask' with 'Holy Spirit'. Make sense now? How can God put on a Holy Spirit mask when He's already wearing a Jesus mask?

We believe the Holy Spirit, the counselor, is one part of God because Jesus said in scripture that when He (Jesus) left the believers to go back to Heaven, He would send the Holy Spirit from Heaven (to take his place).

There are no 3 gods, I can see where the confusion comes from, there is only one god, the holy ghost is the message of God, and Jesus chris is the son of God, but only God is God, i imagine this is similar to what you believe ( apart from the bit about Jesus being the son of God). - Ultimately the Christian, Jewish and Muslim God is the same God.

this non muslim believes that the holy spirit is the personality of Jesus. the holy spirit is the voice of our creator heavenly father.
    .
when you speak of spiritual things you have to step outside of the time box. there is no time in the spirit.
