I have read about several methods. This is the one that I've seen most frequently, where you start with a dish of oil, add in the leaves from a lavernder plant, cover and set it in the sun, strain and repeat.

the title says mint but the video is about lavender - it says to let it rest for one week but I saw another article that said one month - it also said you could use the leaves and stem for a more pungent fragrance.

oh, I thought there was some way to actually extract the oil from the lavender plant - I mean ONLY lavender oil. Do you use that method with Rosemary as well? I love those 2 scents!!! Thanks
