  • About the same as smoking. It depletes the body of nutrients that it can't produce or replenish on its own. Like Vitamin C, posassim vitamin D. Defficiencies in any of these lead to heath issues and can cause central nervous system damage with abuse.

  • I've researched it because I drink Rockstar (used to be Green Wire but they don't have a no carb brand). Energy drinks aren't any more dangerous than a cup of coffee (they have the same amount of caffiene in it). And, Taurine is beneficial to the liver. Ginko Biloba and/or Ginseng is beneficial to the arteries. The B vitamins are beneficial in many ways including lowering blood pressure (which helps counterract the caffiene). The only problem is the massive amounts of sugar. That's why I drink the no carb kind (which is a lot better tasting than you might think). They also have low carb kinds. As with caffiene, it could certainly cause problems if you have an unknown heart disorder. That's why very young people should be cautious. And, make sure there isn't anything abnormal going on with their heart. Interestingly, there is not one ingredient in a can of Red Bull, apart from the 80mg of caffeine, that is not found naturally within the human body (ie. taurine, glucoronolactone, nicinamide, etc.).
