X doesn't typically have meth in it, calm down. It's made up of MDMA which is Amphetamines mixed with an hallucinogen (which is what explains the trippy effects it has) The amphetamines are what pump you up and excite you. In some pills, other drugs can be mixed in but it doesn't always happen. If you didn't notice any wild side effects by now, you should be fine.

Oh and to erase your confusion. The idiot that told you it contains "crystal meth" is obviously not too bright. Crystal meth is NOT water soluble. You couldn't ingest it orally...you HAVE to smoke it. However, crystal meth breaks down in the body to amphetamines, which ARE in ecstasy. So he was partly right, I guess...

Just don't do too much E and you'll be ok...

It sounds like a very risky way to get a short term thrill.

Ecstasy's main hallucinogenic compound is MDMA. This is what causes the euphoria, the over sensativity to light/color, and the rapid heartbeat. MDMA alone is a very potent and powerful drug, but ecstasy is not just MDMA.
Ecstasy is one of the most diverse drugs in existence, basically because when you buy or use ecstasy, you never know what you're going to get. Some ecstasy pills are cut (which means when the pills are manufactured, extra "ingredients" are added to the pill) with heroine, methamphetamine, cocaine, or other street drugs. Even some pills are cut with caffeine, sugar, different starches, potassium, fiber... Basically anything to make the manufacturer's profits larger.
The only true way to know what is in an ecstasy pill is scientific lab analysis. http://www.ecstasydata.org/ is a well respected site when pertaining to such issues, and it is updated frequently with different pills after they have been tested.
Ecstasy is a dangerous drug. You never quite know what will be in it. I've used ecstasy and have to say it is incredibly fun but very dangerous. I've had a seizure while using ecstasy, and even though I used many times after that incident, I finally realized it's not worth it. It's a fun recreational drug, but when it comes down to it, anything that is artificially created in a lab and that is synthetic will potentially harm you.

I hope this helps.
