Recently bought a compost bin, what sort of things should I avoid putting in it?

if you're going to use the compost in your garden, do NOT put blackberries in it!!!

Any type of meat scrape etc. No chicken bones. You can compost vegetable scrapes, grass clippings, leaves etc.

Dairy, citrus, meat(human or otherwise)cigarette butts

- You could make one of those trap lids and throw their (sexist)
  football/dolly in, when they follow it in, the lid slams shut and the compost acts as sound proofing...

anything with fat in it should not be put in a compost bin. ie meat scraps, chicken skin, etc. any fruit and vegie scraps and peeling would be good.
