My 11 month old female cat doesn't get along with my younger male cat. She grabs him by the neck and shakes him, but they sometimes play under a door. How can I make them get along?

If the kitten is a new addition, the female is probably a little territorial. You should allow them to become used to each other by putting the younger cat in a bathroom or other room, and keep them away from each other for a few days/week to get used to each other's scent/presence. Letting them "play door" is the best way that they can get to know each other w/o triggering the aggression/dominance/terroritalness of the female.
