Today, a plane crashed & exploded into flames, killing at least 21 people. 119 people survived. Have you ever been in a plane that crashed or had to make an "emergency landing?" What happened? Do you now avoid flying?

I've never been in a plane that crashed. But, I was in an airplane when it had to make an emergency landing. It was 1997 Summer Olympics and there was a bomb set off there I believe. All the planes in the sky were told to land. It wasn't anything bad because it didn't threaten our plane in any way. We were fine and got home in peace. I would never stop flying in an airplane. There are going to be bad things that happen but that will not make me afraid of flying. I love to fly in airplanes.

This one time I was flying around in my F14 weaving between buildings in San Fransisco and I accidently turned too shallow so I had to eject and my plane flew into a building. . . I felt pretty bad about that. . . And then I realized I was playing Jetfighter 2. :-P No I doubt many people have, air transportation is relativily safe.

I was on a flight that had to make an emergency landing due to weather conditions, but ever since 9/11 I try to avoid flying as much as possible. I have actually devloped a fear of flying ever since.
