I have a machine that makes ionized alkaline drinking water and it also makes a strong 2.5 acidic water. I use the 2.5 acidic water for sore throats and it works great. The 2.5 gets rid of alot of skin disorders (I had alot from my crohn's disease). I don't know what those are, but if they are hindering speaking and swallowing, I don't recommend trying to cure them at home. See a doctor.
