Hi Jenn,
You've had some swell players: Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Cecil Cooper, Jim Gantner, and Geoff Jenkins, etc...
Being from Boston, we've been blessed teams this past decade with the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and Revolution. If I am to understand your question correctly, there seem to be many N.Y. Yankee fans in Massachusetts; not sure of the legality of this, but evidentally it appears to be the case. ;)
There seem to be Yankee fans everywhere.
Giants fan, a lot of my buddies are A's fans. Gyros stomped the holy hell out of them this year 5 games to 1. Bout time. A's suck.
I live in Kentucky which is predominately Reds and Bengals territory (although I am a Packer fan myself). However, there is an extremely large group of Cowboys fans in my area.
Cub fan here!
We find Cub fans everywhere we go ... we went to a Cubs v. Padres game in San Diego once ... there were a ton of Cubs fans there. We're a loyal bunch ...
I would say Yankees, Red Sox and Cubs fans seem to be everywhere.
St. Louis Cardinal FANS! One of my best friends is a Cardinal fan and doesn't let me forget it!
Red Sox fans. Red Sox Nation is everywhere.
In Connecticut, most fans east of the Connecticut River are Red Sox fans, most west of the river are Yankees fans, and another large percentage along the south coast and southwest part of the state are Mets fans. Sometimes I run into a Yankees fan, and when I do I back up and try again to run over them for a clean kill.
There usually are only fans of three teams in CT: Red Sox, Yankees and Mets. But in the New Britian are, there are Twins fans due to the AA team there.

You're reading Out of curiosity, outside of your own team, what team do people around you seem to have the 2nd most fans? (I'm a Brewer fan, but I do run into a Cub fan from time to time)

Thanks Judge Smails! There are Yankee fans everywhere. But I saw a woman wearing a Red Sox t-shirt on my jogging trial today.
Paul Molitor is by far my favorite all-time player.
