I seen a cutaway view of a Caddie northstar engine at a car show wasn't impressed with the two bike looking cam chains on the front of the engine, they must of been 20 foot long? . If you have a northstar the starter is located between the heads under the intake manifold. It looked like a real PITA to change to me and I wonder why they would mount the starter on top of the engine (were all the heat is) under the intake manifold with little access?
