Has anyone here read the book "I Am Legend?" If you have, did you see the movie as well? What did you like/dislike about the differences?

I did read the book and see the movie. On the one hand, it was... kind of accurate in basic concept, and entertaining at least. But on the other... three things still bother me: 1. The vampire/zombies were portrayed much dumber in the film. 2. The people he meets (eventually) aren't the same at all, and it was much weaker in terms of impact when you realized the woman's true identity- in the book, it was a real shock (if you read it, you know what I mean... but I'm opposed to spoilers) 3. The movie ending was just silly. It took away the significance of the title, even. In summary, I prefer the book. But they're really different experiences.
