Not as long as you are a US or Canadian citizen, +4
Now you do....
You need a passport or a passport card to drive over the US/Canadian border. However, children under the age of 16 can use a birth certificate, as can children aged 19 or younger if they are traveling with a school, church, volunteer or sports group.
Please note, if you're traveling by plane, you ALWAYS need a passport book!
