Help answer this question below.
Everyone has an obligation to help man kind, since they are a part of it. If you do not, your just selfish.
Look without the poor the rich would have no one to exploit and with the declining middle class being reduced to poor status it just gives them a bigger pool to choose from for exploitation and IF you don't like that they have some really super poor stuffed all over the planet that are ready willing and able to take your place at the table, has history taught you nothing ??
.
Why enslave just one group of people when you can enslave them all and the best way to keep them enslaved is to keep them at each others throats by any means possible ..

They first have to admit to themselves they have exploited the poor to become rich.
no, not all. No person has the obligation to have to take care of another. Its something we may choose to do but not something we must do.
they do , believe me, the rich and middle class ,SUPPORT THE POOR AND ALIENS of this country ..while the RICH government politicians GET THEIR SHARE...
alms from God's people have an obligation to the poor, unfortunates ,fatherless, and widows also....
rich doesn't have any obligation for poor. one human has obligation to another.
Of course not. They along with every other American pay taxes that address that problem.
if they have a conscience they will
I do believe that they have some obligation to the poor. Not exactly financial support, perhaps, but at least treating them well, remembering that their family was not always rich like it is now. The poor and the midddle class are the legs the upper-class and wealthy politicians stand on, and that position demands a certain level of respect.
weather we have an obligation or not, the rich still support the poor in USA
Depends on who comes under the description of poor.
Since so many are rich as a result of creating the poor, I'd say yes.
Yes they do, but not enough of them care to make a difference that anybody can see.
Definitely. Look up the concept of "noblesse oblige."

No one has any obligations, as we are given free will. Charity is probably the greatest freedom that we have.
No, but they think they have an obligation to tell us we have an obligation to the poor yo...
Under Godless Atheism incorporating the theory of evolution it is a directive that the strong should prevail over the weak with no obligation but to multiply.
no and I'm not rich but I don't feel bad for the poor its their own problem they can fix it themselves
Nope.
Just as much as the poor have an obligation to the
rich. But sometimes the poor expect to get more,
without giving anything more from themselves.
(doesn't need to be money) Double Standard.
.
Everyone is supposed to help everyone as much as
they are able without sacrificing themselves
too much. Otherwise it's egoism.
But leeching of others, just because they have
more, without feeling the need to give anything
in return is wrong.
No but I think they have an obligation to those that help them get that way, like employees and customers.
Not financially.
As a business owner, I was shocked and surprised to learn how LAZY people are. The "poor" people I have offered and/or given jobs to did half a** work or as little as possible. They work one week get paid and then call in a couple of days the next week. I paid them well, probably overpaid, especially considering the quality of work done.
The best help I have found is in someone who didn't need the money, but wanted to work just for something to do. You can't help someone that doesn't want to help themselves.
