    You stand up in the aisle and politely ask the other passengers for the following items.

    -All of their shirts.
    -Any dental floss that they may happen to have with them.
    -And, if there are any diabetics on board, the hypodermic needles out of their emergency insulin kits.

    You then tie the end of the dental floss firmly to one end of the hypodermic needle, and use it as thread to sew the shirts of all the other passengers into one large sheet, which you then use to parachute to safety.

    Quite simple, really.
    And it's even simpler if you get your own needle and thread beforehand.
