  • just wait a little bit longer for her. she is on the females out of dominance, this does not show that she is ready to breed. maybe try putting the doe and buck's cages next to each other so that they can see one another for a while and maybe she will calm down on their next visit!!:) hope this helps
  • She is not old enough to breed yet as she's still too young in age. Some breeds are capable of breeding as early as 10-12 weeks, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea. Depending on what breed she is, if she's a dwarf breed she can be bred when she is 6-7 months old. The buck should wait until he's a good 7 months old. Medium breeds can be bred when they are 7-8 months old. If it's a giant breed, then it's best to wait until they are 8-10 months old, always the bucks should be on the older side when they finally start being used for breeding. When she is old enough, then begin to check to see if she is on heat. Turn her over and look at the color of her vent area. It is usually a pinkish or red color. It needs to be purplish in color. Then take her to the buck and leave her there for 5-10 minutes. Take her out at that time. If they were successful and she's still in heat then, you could try putting her back in between 8-12 hours, but it's usually not necessary. Some people feel that it increases the litter size. I haven't noticed much of a difference.
  • are you sure it's a girl?
