How's Bear dealing with the fireworks?

I haven't found out yet. This will be the first year they are widely available since becoming legal. He could see the staged show from last year, but it was far enough away that he mostly ignored it.

Fireworks are illegal in your hood? I find that dogs are super sensitive to the sounds of the blast. They shake like babies, glad Bear isn't having that trama yet.

Are you excited about lighting a few off this year? :)

They have been illegal in Georgia for as long as I can remember. Until now, anyway. I thought about chasing my nephew with bottle rockets, but I don't really want to terrorize Bear with them. I have to think on it some more.

Please don't do that to Bear. It might be ruff for him to hear the noises. Alot of dogs shake really bad. He won't be used to the sounds.

Yeah he seems to have gotten along with the coleslaw but I can't see a vegan life for him. He has brought out his bones for a fresh gnaw. The nephew is about to drive everyone nuts especially his mother. Fireworks can't start soon enough.

What if you were pretending to be Chef Boyardee, and sneaking into Bear's bone yard for bones;for making the slaw? ;) jk

Didn't have any coleslaw, but I had a turkey burger. He might have liked that... What'd you have?

Me, he won't bite, but he will not let me out of sight with any of his bones. I had a smoked turkey leg and a taco salad. And in retrospect there might be something to the vegan dog theory; he ate part of a salad himself along with a cup of ice coffee. My mother set hers down and forgot it long enough for him to find it.

Bear had some nice grub, a taco salad and iced coffee! :)

Next year he pre ordered: he'll want a Cobb salad, and iced tea.

Least he still keeps an eye on his bones...
